‘Fordal’ is Les Dales, a DJ and Producer from the North East.
Les first learnt to DJ in 1993 and began putting on parties in his local town.
As well as house music Les gained a strong foundation with influences of The Pet Shop Boys, New Order, and Depeche Mode. It is these influences that are still alive in his eclectic sets.
In 1998 Les opened ‘Binary Records’ - one of the highest regarded record shops in Middlesbrough through the late nineties until it was struck with the digital boom and closed in 2001.
After DJing for so many years Les now decided it was time to invest in his own productions, he joined the Point Blank Music school in 2016, and has now continued his study with the renowned London Sound Academy (LSA). He has also completed the coveted Elite DJ course with LSA.
2022 is time to take both his DJing and production to the next level. Performing under his tag ‘Fordal’, his extensive music library and understanding of the dance floor, expect new Fordal productions
