Born in the '70s, grew up in the '80s, raved in the '90s! My first rave was Kelly's in Portrush in 1991, followed by the Point Inn in Donegal in '92. I bought a set of Technics 1210s around '94 and played at the local rave scene for a few years. I stopped dancing all night long in 2000 and sold my 1210s (a big mistake) before the internet burst into life. Fast forward twenty-odd years; I decided to buy myself a set of decks again. Having been away from the underground music scene, I've missed out on the best part of twenty years—now it's catch-up time! I have a nice little setup at home: a Roland 808 DJ controller and a pair of Reloop 8000 turntables with Serato DJ Pro software and DVS mode.
