Ferdinand L. Risco Jr., MBA serves as the Executive Director, Diversity and Equal Opportunity and is responsible for the Affirmative Action (AA)/Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Program, the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program and the Title VI plan for MARTA; ensuring that the strategies and goals of the authority and its business units are compliant with local, state and federal regulations pertaining to equal employment opportunity, service delivery, access to MARTA activities, disadvantage business enterprise, and adherence to all aspects of the American with Disabilities act (ADA).
Serving as the Authority’s EEO Officer, Mr. Risco develops and implements diversity and inclusion initiatives, and consults with other members of Executive Management Team to ensure that all decisions, activities, programs and services are equitable and do not adversely impact current or potential employees, customers, communities, businesses, or other stakeholders.
