" ...back in '88 my father had a shop selling leather goods on Camden high street, and I remember very well that a man used to hide his DnB and mixtapes under our leather goods, when the the cops were about. As a thank you he'd give my father a mixtape from time to time. From Shut up and Dance to Moondance, I was HOOKED...this man turned out to be Nicky Blackmarket, of Blackmarket Records in Soho fame..." .
I was just this weird kid who wanted to listen to rave music all the time and carried my tapes and then CD's everywhere, as I didn't particularly like the music people played at parties, gatherings or even the school bus.
I was very energetic and this music helped me let of some steam basically.
