hALCYON bEE (Erin Bee) graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland with a Bachelor of Music degree in classical trombone performance, and also enjoys playing piano and acoustic guitar. Over the past few years, she's been teaching herself how to make electronic music using Ableton Live. She's still in the experimental stage with her music production, and doesn't limit herself to any particular style. Some of her favourite genres to listen to are oldschool jungle, liquid drum 'n' bass, techstep, dubstep, hip hop, trip hop, glitch, breakbeat, electro, techno, tech house, deep house, progressive house, tech trance, psytrance, progressive trance, psybient, downtempo, and chiptunes.

She's also obsessed with animals (and is a mama to rat boys), books (she reads more than 100 books a year), Japanese language (she's been practicing daily on Duolingo for over 3 years), Disney and Studio Ghibli films, and video games... especially The Legend of Zelda (it's dangerous to go alone!).
