Synaptic FX is a veteran DJ from Canada with more than 15 years of experience in the mixing arts. After discovering Gui Boratto, Robert Babicz, and Max Cooper in the later years of the last decade his focus began to shift toward the more musical and melodic side of techno. Since then he has delved deeper into the emerging fusion of deep house, new wave, future disco, and pop techno typified by Maceo Plex, Chaim, and Visionquest. Nowadays he is mapping territory at the leading edge of artful electronic dance music, always aiming to present fresh material with a distinctly timeless quality.

Although proficient in both vinyl and CD mixing, Synaptic FX now employs a laptop and MIDI controller to maximize the creative potential of his sets with harmonic mixing and an expert use of layering and effects. Every performance is completely improvised, remaining true to the classic concept of the set as a journey dependent on the dynamic feedback loop between dance floor and DJ.
