Eric Abbot started mixing records in 2006 with a second-hand gemini mixer which he connected to the computer. In 2007 he produced (with new dj equipment) 'The Institutional Essence' in 2007. This mix was and still is loved by many friends.
In 2007 Eric got successful with an online international dj-contest. He got fourth just a few points behind the winners! But the spin-off was even better. Because of his mix, he was invited by Luminosity to be the warm-up dj for their first party: Phynn & Friends in Club Poema in the city of Utrecht. Next Eric took the chance of sending in 15 minutes of fame of Tiesto's radio show Club Life. Tiesto spinned the 15 minutes of fame of Eric Abbot (back then called myunc). Eric recieved great reactions from different sources on the net.
For the next years Eric produces a lof of mixes for TOTAALFM.COM, an online radioshow. He had is own show called 'Monk Sessions'. Due lack of time, Eric stopped dj-ing in 2010.
