Been deejaying since 1992 or something. Always vinyl, but lately, I've been using Final Scratch 1.54 too (yes, the old one).
My love for melodic, yet driving stuff has kept me safely in the Trance slot. When I was young and really tried to get gigs, I was the Acid guy, now I play whatever I feel like, it doesn't matter, people always smile and dance.
I keep buying records still, but having a family has put a stop to any DJ career I had dreamt of when I was younger. I play mainly small events, private parties and also make mix-CD's, but just for listening to, not for promotion. I use Mixmeister Fusion for those CD's, as I don't have enough space to keep my decks hooked up. *sadface*
