Growing up in and around Berlin, he went to his first Techno party at the age of 15 in the old yet famous MadgaLENA club in Berlin.
That was the beginning of a musiccal journey, starting with playing the drums and buying his first controller by the age of 16.

EmZn´s sound is profoundly influenced by the dark, yet break heavy style so commonly found in Berlin, despite having various connections to other genres such as Dub House, Tech House and Minimal and being lead by his admiration for both Julian Jeweil and Victor Ruiz.
