Las Vegas, United States
My late-night radio show out of Las Vegas. Two hours of downtempo, trip hop, dream pop and shoegaze, every song picked by how it feels next to the others. Not by charts, not by algorithms.
It started with a late-night show in San Diego, just past the year 2000: Midori's Big Sonic Chill on FM 94.9. Massive Attack next to Nick Drake. It was never about the genres. It was about how the songs made me feel together.
I buy every song I play. Whenever I can, I buy it straight from the artist. A lot of it is new music I found digging late at night. It plays here, and all day on ESC Radio, my station on Live365 and TuneIn, fully licensed so the artists earn royalties.
Every artist I play gets a page on ekhosonicchill.com with where to buy their music, their links and their show dates. Find a band you love, then go support them. New episodes every Friday. Press escape any time.

So glad to call Mixcloud home. Ekho's Sonic Chill is a labor of love — dream-pop, trip-hop, shoegaze and others that share one chill pulse. Can't wait to share it, and to meet folks who hear music the way I do. Press escape any time.
