I'm EKHO, and this is where I go to escape.
It started with a late-night radio show back in San Diego — Midori's Big Sonic Chill on 94.9 — that I first caught alone in my office, and later on summer beaches with a bonfire going and friends half-asleep in the sand. Reminiscent, a little innocent, free of the week's weight. Ekho's Sonic Chill is me chasing that feeling back.
Two and a half hours a week of downtempo, dream-pop and trip-hop — no algorithm, just me choosing each song by how it makes me feel, in an order that means something. One opening song, five sets of six, one to close, and a word between about the people who made them.
It's a place to remember, to reflect, to think a little life through. Long drive, late shift, or the quiet after everyone's asleep — leave the noise of the world outside. Press escape any time.
