Im a bay area native born in 74. I lived my life in San Jose and Cupertino until age 22. I moved to San Francisco the summer of 96'. My brother Forest had a job for me where I worked and lived at Cafe Cocomo on Indiana St. What a great way to start out. I worked with the owners friend Peter all summer long cleaning up the place, we built a BBQ out of bricks, and a bit of landscaping as well. When we opened, I cooked and ran a small cafe. I had a great set up living in the then open walled loft space above. The ususal cast of SF promoters began to trickle in asking to throw parties....pre liquor/cabaret license. I remember quite a few underground parties happening. Cocomo finallly went legit long after I had left.

Prior to moving to the city I was a little weekend warrior. Life was so fun as a 15 year old drop out who would go to Dead Shows and Full moon raves. All those awesome Wicked parties, Bonnie Doons,FX,Cactus Club, Velvet Shop, hopping the wall at the end up. And wow! what
