DYR is a Minneapolis-based electronic musician whose atmospheric, beat-forward music elevates dance floors with an eclectic blend of techno, house, and disco.
Recent works include U're Guay, Vol. 36, signed to U're Guay Records. Her original tracks “Skippy” and “Hello” pay homage to early 00's house and were created on a legendary Yamaha RS7000. “You’ll hear sounds of early acid house and tech-house throughout the EP, taking you on a musical journey to the past with modern production flares.” (Global Dance Electronic)
Earlier works such as "Mondial Cosmos" (Uniting Souls Music) and "All The Time" (self-released) received positive reviews from Acid Ted Blog, Yes/No, and Electronic North.
DYR got her start in Seattle playing many well-loved local venues including Kremwerk, Monkey Loft, Q Nightclub, and Re-Bar. Internationally, DYR has performed at Kaffibarinn in Reykjavik, Iceland and the notorious underground techno club LÄRM in Budapest, Hungary.
