San Francisco-based DWATA is currently riding a meteoric wave with her wickedly curated sets. She knows how to throw in vibes through groovy licks of house, crisp breaks, twists of dark dub, and deep drum and bass cuts. DWATA creates a distinct, lingering sound and a style all her own.
DWATA is derived from the Tagalog word diwata which means goddess or enchanted. Indeed, DWATA has been bringing enchanting magic from behind the decks.
