DONNY is a House/Tech House DJ based out of Melbourne, VIC. Having started DJing in 2014 after falling in love with the Melbourne music scene , DONNY has - in a very short time - found a deep love and understanding of house music.
He started his music career as a percussionist, drumming in several bands throughout his teenage years. Having grown up on an eclectic range of music, DONNY has taken inspiration from a wide range of artists, namely, James Blake, Stevie Wonder, and Tool . More recently DONNY has taken influence from the likes of Claptone, Super Flu, Claude Vonstroke ,Green Velvet and Dusky.
DONNY currently holds residence at iconic Melbourne venues Lucky Coq and Bimbo Deluxe. He also plays on a rotation basis at The Bottom End and The Evelyn Hotel. With his signature funky style, DONNY is currently, and will continue to bring bass driven dance music to venues around Melbourne .
