From IL out to CO and then back to the CHI.
Generally I use Propellerhead's Reason and Ableton Live for my own productions and mixes, though I enjoy waking my neighbor's baby at 4am playing an assortment of other more traditional noise-makers on a head full of Substance D cut with meth.
My mixes are usually bass-heavy and polyrhythmic. I like syncopation. The play between half-time and double-time. Some swing. So, often 'post-dubstep', funk, trap, rap, LA-beat, lazer bass, purple, jungle, and more and more Chicago footwork and its international hybrids.
