Introducing himself to the turntables in 1988 for fun, Dr. Vey aka Vincent not only familiarized himself quickly with the decks but after only a few months of constantly churning out tunes for his mates, received the opportunity to play for Le Cinema, one of Milan’s top rated clubs. His genre initial has blossomed into a selection of funky and electro house with progressive inclinations.
His influences originate from a wide genre of producers, DJS and Labels such as Aphex Twin, Autechre, B12, U-Ziq, Mike Dred, Boards of Canada, Cylob, LFO, Polygon Window, Black Dog, Francesco Zappalà, just to name a few.
After 20yrs of spinning tunes for clubs all over Europe and Italy, and whilst accepting his true calling, “The People’s DJ”, his passion for music has landed him top spot in the region of East and Central Africa. His commitment production and his music has also give rise to the first ever radio show on East Africa’s top radio station, Capital FM. (since 2007 STOP ON 2012)
