"Drumtomation" is the side/solo project of drummer Jasper Wellens (Finalist Roland V-Drums Contest 2011). While performing on lots of venues and doing some studio & demo recordings with various rock bands, Jasper also gave several solo performances on electronic drums at some local parties. As a result, an idea of an electronic e-drum project was about to form steadily, and after several successful try-outs and being a finalist of the Roland V-drums Contest, the project 'Drumtomation' was officially born in 2012. In 2015 the project got a serious boost with some serious 1000-people venues, at Vooruit (Ghent) and Route du Soleil (Bordeaux, France) as most significant examples.
