”He had had his immortality thrust upon him by an unfortunate accident with an irrational particle accelerator, a liquid lunch and a pair of rubber bands.” Wowbagger arrived on Earth in the autumn of 1980, and after 14 years spent here his eternal love towards music has overrun him. He was guided to get his first experiences by his parents’ funk and disco records. Starting from this he has been searching for the past and present of these styles. The hip-hop and acid house fiction, which was determining at that time, came into focus in that way. He stood behind the dj counter for the first time when he was 16. The cassettes, which ruled the nights, showed the way towards the fusion ”nuskool”. After the tape the road led straight to the cult data medium: the bakelite. In 2003 he and his friends formed the team Freakybeats in order to represent their ideas about music in their own freestyle club parties.
