DJ Whip was born with a natural instinct to blend beats. Fueled by an underlying passion to aurally stimulate the masses with his innate ability to mix multiple genres of music.
Like any artist, Whip learned at an early age to be a key player in the industry, he had to earn the respect of his peers and more importantly his audience. Therefore, his musical path began like many that pioneered on the turntables before him. Before he was a teenager he saved his money to buy a mixer and turntable. By 15, he was main attraction at local parties. By 18, he was competing in DJ battles and gaining the recognition of national media outlets and brands.
As his portfolio continues to diversify, Whip has become the master of matching beats to brand awareness and activation campaigns. His academic background intertwined with performing on stages has provided him an intuitive edge that allows him to produce mixes to reach desired demographics through live and broadcast mediums.
