In 1988 DJ Velvet discovered his love of clubs and house music and got caught by the DJ bug. His success was instant and he picked up support from clubbers and promoters across the globe.
After 2 successful seasons he set his sights to the top and decided to go all the way.

Dj Velvet got more and more involved in the music so that in spring 1995 he played at big clubs all over the world. Nowadays he is dividing his time between producing and his big love, DJ-ing. His goal is to become one of the top DJ's in the world.

DJ Velvet likes to describe his main style as groovy, sexy, pumping house with a progressive twist. He can be very different from one production to another. His ability to move the crowd with his flawless, energetic set, and his driving enthusiasm shakes the clubbers as he dances around behind the decks.

In 1992 he was invited to be a guest DJ next too DJ Jean at club IT in Amsterdam.
