Born Gregory LeVan in Birmingham, Alabama.Growing up in the East Lake Community on the East side of Birmingham, DJ TwistUm was introduced to Hip Hop at an early age & fell in love instantly. As time went on he found himself becoming more diversified in his taste for multiple music genres. At every house party or any party for that matter, that he had anything to do with, he was the one who wanted to handle the music. At that point he knew right then he wanted to be a DJ. The opportunity came available for him to move to South Carolina & not only work at one of the biggest night clubs in Columbia at the time, but also had the best equipment any DJ could ask for to learn on.
