DJ Self Born is a multi-talented Chicago born DJ/Producer whose skills extend far beyond just DJing. As the owner of the legendary Love/Hate DJ Bar, now a "pop-up" event, his influence in the music industry have been felt far and wide.
DJ Self Born was recruited by the legendary Chicago group and old friends, Abstract Mindstate to produce their album, "Dreams Still Inspire" with Kanye West.
DJ Self Born has released his own projects blurring the lines between mix-tapes and albums. "Heaven Is A Studio, God Is A DJ," features dreamy interludes and efficient spits. "Bigger Than Rap Music" tells real-life hip-hop stories with dope beats. "Rich Plug, Poor Plug" is a musical journey of young men based on Robert Kiyosaki's, "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" book. "The Sky-Cave Kid Superhero Adventures" was inspired by 80s cartoons and comic books and features incredible tracks. His latest project, "I'm Not O.C.D., Everything Just Has To Be Perfect," showcases his passion for perfection.
