For DJ Sal V, it has always been about the groove. With decades of experience behind the decks, his sound is rooted in classic house with a firm connection to the underground. His productions and DJ sets combine funky rhythms, driving grooves and club-focused energy.
From 2007 to 2012, Sal V hosted The Launch Mixshow on KRAJ 100.9 The HEAT FM, featuring house music and guest DJs from around the world. Sponsored by Native Instruments Traktor Scratch, the program aired during a period when digital DJ technology was rapidly reshaping club culture.
Sal V continues to produce and release new music through Pure Sugar Music, his independent house music label, while his Old School Flashbacks DJ mix series revisits the funk, disco and dance records that helped shape his musical foundation.
