DJ Reets is a female DJ, radio host and producer that performs in and around the Washington, D.C. area. Since 2009, Reets spent time teaching music production courses to the youth in her hometown of Takoma Park, MD. Between classes, Reets spent her time spinning at local clubs and bars. She co-hosted "The Blackout" on GW Radio from 2009-2011, hosted "Hip Hop Karaoke DC" from 2010-2015 at the legendary Liv Nightclub, and was the only female DJ to have a reoccurring feature at DC's "95 Live" party, sponsored by Stussy/ Cmonwealth. When Reets isn't behind the tables, she co-hosts a bi-weekly radio show "Sister's of the District Revolution" (takomaradio.org), and has a weekly mix show "Classic Flavors" on DJ Bee's Fresh Radio (itsfreshradio.com), every Thursday at 7PM. Her styles typically consist of new and old school hip-hop, r&b, dance, house, nu-disco, and electronic.
