Born in Miami and raised in Greenville, SC, Jose Nieves, Jr. aka “Pucho” always had a life long affair with music. Influenced by a blend of Hip-Hop, Break Beats, Rock & Roll, R&B, and Freestyle, he developed an open-minded appreciation for music and its culture. He also grew a passion for music history, songwriting, dancing, productions, and live performance, which was mainly influenced by his father, but solely motivated by the unexpected illness of his younger brother.

After getting his first set of DJ equipment, Pucho quickly learned the craft and began to DJ music at local bars and lounges from Boston to Miami. Through it all, Pucho continues to become an example of homegrown talent earning his place through hard work and determination.
