I play to the taste of the audience. I don't come to the event with a scripted 'crate' of music, which allows me to be flexible and spontaneous, letting the mood and energy in the room take me where I need to go. I recognize that 'its not about me', rather its about who hired me and their guests. Over the years, I have paid attention to people telling me what they like and dislike about DJ's they've heard, so I keep those things in mind as I practice and prepare for an upcoming event.
