DJ Mr Max originally hails from the UK and is currently based in Singapore. Heavily influenced by House and Disco music, his musically formative years were spent at the infamous Southport Weekenders where the sounds from Joey Negro, DJ Spen, Kerri Chandler, Masters at Work, Dimitri from Paris and Karizma were absorbed into his soul. 

Since 2011 he has been part of the ‘Off The Boat’ collective, playing their unique blend of disco, funk, soul, hip-hop and house monthly at venues in Singapore.

Mr Max is always adapting his sound, whether playing to intimate crowds or playing to larger crowds at the sell out Escape boat parties, which he co-promotes.
