DJ MK Biography

Most would agree that, no matter where or when they attend a party, the most important aspect of an event is the quality of the music being played. In order to make everybody get into the right mood, you need a good DJ for the night to satisfy both young and old party-goers. Meet DJ MK, born Christopher Maradiaga, who represents the original meaning of the word "DJ": he has his own style, a passion for mixing, and a sharp ear for music. This deadly combination has made him into the DJ that he is today.
Born in Guatemala but originally from Honduras, DJ MK came to Switzerland at the tender age of 3. Like every person in search of an identity, he found his passion in music, listening to old school funk and soul tracks from a young age. But growing up in the city of Bienne, widely accepted as the capital of Hip Hop in Switzerland, it was only a matter of time before DJ MK got his nickname from his peers and was exposed urban music and to the art of DJ-ing.
