Back in the day...
The very first mixes I recorded DIGITALLY from my [then] Vestax Decks/Numark Mixer setup were to my little gem of a gadget MPIO mp3 player with 128MB onboard storage AND the unique recording capability, which was rare to get a good reliable one back in the early 2000's that could actually successfully record! Then I would take the mp3 mix and transfer it onto a 74 minute cd - back then that was the only way you could really share mixes easily with friends. This is why the majority of my mixes shared on here are 74 min's or less.

Before 2002 I was recording direct from vinyl to cassete deck! If i get back into this whole creative DJ thang, who knows I may dig out those mix tapes and get them digitally uploaded!
If I get inspired, I might even get on the decks and get mixing again...as it has been a very long time :)
Update, July 2020 I did my first mix using djay Pro sw, recorded with Audacity sw 👍
