Mikey is sorely missed here at Jake’s. He is a self starter and was a real leader while employed as a DJ.
The DJ is one of the most important positions is this type of operation. If the patrons like the DJ and he is able to sense the type of music they want to dance to he can keep the house packed until the wee hours. Whenever Mikey played we operated at close to capacity.
He was one of my best employees since the inception of the business. I could use all of the virtue describing the best boy scout and it would not do Mikey justice. He was never late, always cheerful, well liked by staff..
