The hardest working DJ in the UK, DJ Mikey J has developed his style from roots in bass music and drum and bass to encompass a diverse range of music in his sets. He's infamous for blending funk, soul, latin, hiphop, jazz, international grooves and other oddities - into sets full of energy, suprises, and technical flair. Mikey's been rocking parties for over 15 years, and is only just getting started.
He's played alongside or opened for pretty much everyone in the business from A-Skillz to Zinc due to his long-standing residencies at some of the most prestigious clubs in the country: The Tuesday Club (Sheffield), The Hifi Club (Leeds), and Shinobi in Hull.
Recent years have seen Mikey explode onto the national and international scene as a headliner in his own right, with appearances on the main stage at the Outlook Festival, and many more festival shows including, Soundwave and Kendal Calling...
