From the tender age of 14, Maki, had a passion for dance music.Later, when he went to Malaysia for his higher studies he joined the University radio Station where he rekindled his passion for music.
His University mate Herb, already a top DJ in the Malaysian night scene, taught him the delicate art of proper mixing and went onto hire him as his assistant DJ. With the influences like, John Digweed, Carl Cox and Tiesto, he quickly mastered the skills of the art. With the extensive knowledge in Underground Electronic Music, enabled Maki to develop his own wicked style of spinning which made him one of the resident DJs in “Smokeez”, a popular night club in Malaysia. From there Maki went on to perform in Beach parties, Club gigs to Jungle parties. During the last Days in the country he managed to play in the famous Euphoria (MOS) .
