Benjie McKinley, aka DJ Mac, is a club/mixtape DJ from San Antonio, TX. He has had a love for music ever since he was 8 years old. His work began in 2007 when he started chopping and screwing songs as a hobby. In 2008 he did 3 mixtapes, all chopped and screwed, released them in February of 2012, and received good reviews. His desire to help others reach their goal of getting to the top is evident in his mixtapes, as he has involved artists in his hometown of San Antonio, TX in the majority of his mixtapes. He has a significant resume to include features in Coast 2 Coast Magazine Issue #35 and The Underground Fix Magazine Issues #3 and #18. He also has multiple appearances on Coast 2 Coast Instrumentals mixtapes and was a part of the BET 2014 Voting Academy for BET & Soul Train Awards.
