Lucky 8 started raving in Seattle during the boom of electronic music in 1999. When paper flyers were your only source for direction, vinyl was "the only way" to deejay and 6am was still legal. In 2002 she moved to Los Angeles and was given belt driven turntables for her birthday by her best friend whom knew she was fascinated, by the thought, of making people dance. By 2005 she was put on stages by The Fusion Brothers and quickly became known in the Los Angeles underground scene. In 2008 she made the switch from vinyl to digital and was able to start editing all the music she would find to make them more her style, create mash ups and loops when necessary. She is a very technical deejay in her timing and can drop tracks in a blink of an eye. She likes to think of herself as the destroyer.
