Hugues Tremblay, known professionally as Hugo Bass, is a producer / songwriter and disc jockey of dance and house music based in Montreal. He began his career as DJ in 1984 in St-Felicien, his hometown. He quickly became famous by winning the first position to the contest Défi DJ two years in a row (1994-1995) for the Eastern Quebec's region . In 2000, he joined forces with Martin Cloutier to create the group Bionik Blue and produced several hits including 2 The Top and Feel Alright signed with the record label D-Noy Musik where they get found themselves in the top 5 ranking of the Canadian National Dance.
