DJ Gelo took interest in DJing in 2006. Started to hang around with Amplified DJs CDO and took mentorship from DJs Cocoy Banaag, Jack Friday and Bookee. Had his first gig in 2008. Since then DJ Gelo just kept on the background in CDO’s Partying scene. From 2008 to 2013 he continuously learned the craft and his love for the scene grew and grew. In 2014 he took on DJing more seriously. He started taking gig offers from the local bars and clubs in Cagayan de Oro. He also started to take in wedding and corporate events and festivals.
