Deep began his rise to prominence a DJ and trend- setter in China’s music scene over 13 years ago. Although he began his career playing hip-hop records on vinyl, he quickly came to master every piece of DJ equipment which came his way, and soon he began exploring many genres of music
which had yet to enter into China. G became a pioneer in the Chinese music scene and forever changed the face of Chinese clubbing when he became the first Chinese DJ to introduce mashup music in his DJ sets. As word of G’s high-energy mashup sets spread around China, within a few short years mashup music became the norm in every Chinese club throughout the country. With this foundation in the Chinese scene but international style that always remained out in front of the pack, he naturally progressed to the top of China’s booming nightlife arena, and like a true trendsetter, as he continued to discover and play new music styles the rest of the DJs around China took note and followed his lead.
