DJ FIJI was one who came from a family of musicians. Not one to be satisfied with just playing instruments, his journey began to search for other ways to make music. Being a keyboardist, guitar player already, music seemed to be a part of his life already and beat matching came naturally when he first discovered the world of DJING where he saw a DJ from Turkey, DJ DAVUT, who spun records and seemed to have this amazing control over large multitudes of people. Being in awe of how this guy could control the pace and flow of the energy in the room, DJ FIJI made it his mission to learn how such a skill could be learnt. After thousands of questions and persistence, DJ DAVUT decided that the only way to get rid of FIJI was to teach him. Much to his surprise, FIJI was a very quick learner and never seemed to question what was right or wrong.
