He was trained as a classical guitarist and discovered metal, punk and ska in his teenage years. However by the early 1990s he began to produce drum and bass, EDM and DJ, and gained fame in the rave, warehouse and hip hop scenes of the early 1990s. As a producer, he has worked with many music artists and groups. Notable released tracks and remixes for Public Enemy, Mos Def, MC Lyte, Lyrics Born, MC Radioactive, Pepper, Erykah Badu and Lovedegreez have gained considerable popularity.
