Tibet Akyurekli, better known as DJ Dr0x, found his talent for house music later on in his life, unlike other artists it took him a solid three years to establish a foundation in his hometown of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

Every day Dr0x would practice in his basement envision a huge crowd in front of him, dreaming every day that he would one day play on a big stage with a crowd that would love him and his music. His friend got Dr0x connected with a charity event at the University of Ottawa, iSkate4CHEO. Dr0x’s always loved doing charity events and he was ecstatic to start the seven hour long mix. After iSkate4CHEO, Dr0x had been offered a spot in the very first edition of the E.L.E Fest held on the University of Ottawa’s campus. Dr0x’s dream and come true and this was the first step to getting to something even bigger. Presented in front of him over 200 people dancing and cheering for him, this was Dr0x’s first experience of everyone concentrating on him and him only.
