Stara Zagora, Bulgaria
The name of D. Denchev (Dencho Denchev), first appeared on the music scene in the mid-’90s. Being massively influenced by his father who has been one of the first professional DJs and studio owners in their home town of Stara Zagora, in post-communist Bulgaria, the teenager Dencho learned how to mix with the very limited available technology at the time whilst supporting the growing popularity of different music trends in many local clubs. He has quickly become a big part of the nightlife by making a lot of friends and going to fashionable nightclubs. As Bulgaria was introduced to western culture and music significantly late, the music bars and nightclubs have been at their peak.
