DJ Dekster a.k.a. Michel Dekker, born and located in Rotterdam (NL) started his semi-professional career at the early 00’s. Besides running his own personal gym, from the age of 23 in his hometown, music has always been his passion.

Going to clubs as iT (Amsterdam), Chemistry (Amsterdam), NightTown
(Rotterdam) and parties like M.T.C. and many more, his love for house music was growing. It was at Beachclub Bloomingdale at the Sundale parties where he felled in love with the True House Music sound. Every (legendary) sundaynight he was enchanted by the pure, warm, sexy and groovy house sound. He instantly bought his first DJ set (2x Technics SL1200 turntables and Dateq XTC mixer) and start making cd's for friends and promotors to get feedback.

To make sure to do the right, he followed a DJ-course to know all ins and outs. Competitive as he is he signed up for the Heineken DJ contest 2005 he won. He played at Bloomingdale, Misteryland, Extrema, Nikki Beach (Saint Tropez) and many more.
