DJ Cymba of HUEY, also known as the "Lemon Pepper Legend", is an ambitious DJ and event curator from the Southside of Chicago. He is the official DJ for the music collective HUEY Gang, Mother Nature, Black Tide Entertainment and Militia Entertainment. Cymba began DJ’ing and hosting at different open mics around the city, including but not limited to: Lyric Lagoon, Friday Night Lites, FLOW (Fresh Lyrics on Wednesday), and a variety of others. He’s curated a multitude of events across the city. The goal: to create a safe and fun space for everyone to enjoy themselves genuinely, all the while presenting Chicago’s nightlife with something unique and refreshing. Using genre bending blends, Cymba connects with his audience and sends them through a nostalgic rollercoaster of emotions with the duality within his craft.
