DJ Cosmos officially started his music career in 2004.
He became the Front of House Engineer for the Royalty Band based in the Tri-state area. After a leave of absence, in the summer of 2006, from the band; Dj-Cosmos and two close colleagues; who shared the enthusiasm and zeal for the musical art form, began playing music at small house parties and Barbecues. It was at these parties he teamed up with King Tappa from NJ Power sound. Dj-Cosmos capitalized on his association with King Tappa and sought coaching from the veteran, who taught him the finer points of the business.
By January 2007, armed with a strong determination to excel, he began hosting his live weekly Thursday show on Islandriddimz.com. It was during these ever popular weekly shows that he expanded his fan-base and perfected his skill.
