Jaliyl Coleman officially began deejaying during his freshman year of high school. He was scratching, mixing and blending the records that his late uncle left behind. This helped him appreciate the art but it is his love of deejaying that propels his craft to the next hemisphere.
Also known as “The Showstopper”, DJ Cookz was born in the South Bronx. His love for music inspired this turntable chef to cook up the tastiest musical mixes, pleasing to the eardrums and satisfying the appetites of New York partygoers for the past 16 years. DJ Cookz is also a member of the Hot 97 SummerMix Weekend Guest DJ. He has seasoned the booth of many New York City prime venues.
