apart from dj'ing beatnik has been involved in engineering and producing for artists such as 'ilanga', 'piece of ebony' and 'thomas mapfumo'. and has worked as a sound technician with 'ub40', 'misty in roots', 'stimela', 'gnags' from holland, 'anna mwali', 'pj powers', 'soul brothers', 'bundu boys' and also helped stage the 'human rights now' concert, and toured zambia with 'fat boy slim'.
