Baraka (DJ Baraka) played psytrance (the mid-90s to mid-00s) as a resident at Return to the Source (RTTS) with releases on labels including Phantasm and Starchild Records. Baraka travelled the globe spinning an eclectic style of psytrance focusing on the journey aspect of the mix, the essence of which was inspired by the likes of Mark Allen and Tsuyoshi Suzuki. Open to experimenting with the mix, Baraka often brought in elements of other genres to his varied live sets, including progressive trance, house and techno.
