Hi, My name is Richie Conte and I'm a DJ since the early 1970's playing in dance clubs in and around New York City in a scene that evolved from a strictly funk, soul, and R&B into the disco scene. Around six years ago, I decided to take my love of Swing Music and mix it with other genres of music that you could also swing to. I kept the mixes tight to create some excitement on the dance floor and named my new creation 'Swing Jam".
Also, I have been inducted into the "Legends Of Vinyl" hall of fame as a first generation Club DJ." I also was the main DJ at "The World's Biggest Discoteque" in Madison Square Garden in 1976 at the height of the Disco Era.
