Growing up in both California and New York, and having family in the caribbean islands of Trinidad & Tobago, D.J. A.N.G. grew up with an astounding variety of music in his household. He credits this to is ability to transform into various genres of music at any given time.
At age 16, he began studying the art of djing. At the time, living in a small suburb of southern California, he and his friends were deeply rooted into hip hop and started a small hip hop group that gained attention in his high school years.
A.N.G. then moved to New York where he took his Djing skills to the next level by creating various mixtape on a monthly basis and gained popularity within the record labels as a constant mobile and mixtape D.J.
D.J. A.N.G. has become a force to be reckoned with, as he has constantly evolved his craft. Working in various clubs in NYC, along side his two weekly podcast on Strongisland.com, Shutdown Sundays, and The Muh Fiya & A.N.G. Show.
